Mr. ZHAO Lei won many awards for his energy storage technology entrepreneurship project during his MBA at Peking University: the first prize of 2017 innovation and entrepreneurship competition of Guanghua School of Management of Peking University; the first prize of 2018 Weiming innovation and entrepreneurship competition of Peking University, and the special prize of Sichuan Neijiang National College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship competition on behalf of Peking University in 2018; the champion of London, European division of China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for Overseas Talents Final in Huangzhou in 2018.

In September 2018, he was invited to return to his Zibo city to attend the Youth Businessmen Conference, where he saw the great changes in his hometown. Under the care and attention of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, the district Party Committee and the district government, Mr. Zhao decided to give up the subsidy given by government Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou city and established the enterprise headquarters back to Linzi District, Zibo, his hometown. In 2019, Mr. ZHAO Lei established Shandong Zinner New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship of sustainable and clean energy. The company and Sunan Institute of Peking University jointly established a new energy joint R & D laboratory, focusing on the R & D and production of ultra-high-density nano energy storage new materials and intelligent new energy automatic control technology. They successfully developed the "high-efficiency composite nano energy storage new materials" technology with the highest energy storage density in the world. The company uses the ultra-high density energy storage nano material to store energy by using off-peak time electricity. It can realize the storage, transfer and reuse of energy. It is a necessary means to solve the discontinuity, instability and uncontrollability of renewable energy power generation. It can track planned power generation and ensure safe and stable power supply. It has good economic advantages in solar energy utilization, using off-peak time power, waste heat recovery and utilization, and energy conservation of industrial and civil buildings in air conditioning. Mr. Zhao’s energy storage technology has been successfully commercialized. In application , the heating cost of enterprises and families can be reduced by about 50%. The cold storage technology can meets the vaccine transportation standard. Mr. ZHAO Lei's patent application for nano material heat storage technology has been in the final examination stage. And patent certificates have been obtained for several technologies supporting this technology, such as heat storage device, box heat exchange station, temperature control system and method, etc.

In addition, Mr. ZHAO Lei also combines his identity as an alumni of Peking University and works with professors and other professionals in colleges and universities including Peking University and Shandong University of Technology to commercialize their technologies. The high-end ship desulfurization slurry (magnesium hydroxide slurry) developed by Mr. ZHAO Lei in cooperation with professors of Shandong University of Technology has reached the highest international level. This technology is applied to the scrubber of ships. It uses high sulfur fuel combined with waste gas purification system or scrubber to reduce sulfide emission, greatly reduce the sulfur emission of ship fuel on the sea, and protect the marine environment and the earth. The main properties of magnesium hydroxide slurry developed by Mr. ZHAO Lei's team, such as viscosity, specific surface area and sedimentation, are significantly ahead of the products of Nedmag (Netherland) and Timac AGRO (Groupe Roullier, French). By this, Mr. Zhao received the attention of Timac AGRO (Groupe Roullier, French). They contacted Mr. ZHAO Lei in 2020 and invited him to mail his magnesium hydroxide slurry sample to their French headquarters for product performance test. They conveyed a clear intention to cooperate with Mr. Zhao.

Mr. ZHAO Lei's outstanding skills in the combination of technology and management have also attracted the attention of countries eager for talents. Canada Pycap Venture Partners actively contacted Mr. Zhao, introduced the Startup visa program developed by the Federal Government of Canada. Pycap is willing to provide Mr. ZHAO Lei with venture capital in Canada and assist him in applying for the Canadian immigration visa. This also provides more possibilities for Mr. Zhao to further participate in the industry with the international community.

In the fourth quarter of 2021, Mr. Zhao received another attention from an Australian company Urban Leaf, who holds the  philosophy to protect the Earth’s eco-systems. The Company invites Mr. Zhao to work with them to encourage sustainable design within the residential and commercial building industry in Australia, to deliver the most beneficial, cost-effective, cutting-edge and environmentally responsible solutions and services to clients.

Since the establishment of the company and the successful research and commercialization of energy storage technology, many professional investors have actively contacted Mr. ZHAO Lei and express their pleasance in investing in his business. Mr. Zhao find that investors not only focus on his energy storage technology, but also on his continuous R & D ability and enterprise management ability. Backed by the technological research and development of the world's top universities, Mr. Zhao has continuously innovated, developed and upgraded technologies in response to the market demand.

In 2021, Mr. ZHAO Lei integrated Shandong Zinner New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Shandong Zinner Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. and established Shandong Eterny New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. to prepare for subsequent comprehensive development and going to be listed in the market. Under the influence of the corona virus, the global energy shortage continues and becomes more severe. Since the beginning of winter in 2021, the news of China's coal shortage and the rise of household electricity prices in European countries have frequently appeared in the reports.
